Hol ICE Accountable

The tragic death of Alex Pretti begs the question as to how long we must suffer the killing of peaceful, citizen protestors, the illegal detainment and injuries inflicted on American citizens, the forceful entry into our homes without judicial warrants, the sinister efforts to focus arrests on families and children rather than actual criminals, a weaponized DOJ investigating victims rather than ICE perpetrators, and the military siege of our cities.  

250 years ago, the founders of both our Commonwealth and our Nation recognized that these are actions of a tyrannical state.  The eyes of history are upon us as to whether we will continue to defend our sacred rights and liberties.  

The hour is here and the choice is clear.  We must meet this moment with whatever legal tools at our disposal or idly stand by and watch the demise of our Republic.

As such, I’m proud to stand with my Democratic Colleagues in the PA House of Representatives as we introduce legislation to help protect and hold accountable a federal government that continues to threaten our freedom and our rights as Americans and Pennsylvanians.
