Protecting Bees, Butterflies, and Other Pollinators in PA

"Pennsylvania just got one step closer to protecting our beloved native bees, butterflies and other pollinators. House Resolution 66, which directs state officials to study how to best manage the state’s native bees, butterflies and other insects native to Pennsylvania passed the Pennsylvania House by a bipartisan vote of 112-89 on Monday, May 4th 2026. House resolutions do not need ratification by the state Senate or the governor’s signature, so this marks the legislation’s final step. The Legislative Budget and Finance Committee (LBFC) will complete and release the report within the next six months."
